Good to know.

Every charter includes your licensed captain and crew and all fuel for your cruising route. There is no fuel surcharge. Complimentary water, soft drinks and ice are on board, along with towels and glassware. Catering, bar packages and décor can be arranged on request.
Boarding is at 7 Queens Quay East on Toronto's downtown waterfront, a short walk from Union Station and the 509 Harbourfront streetcar, with complimentary dockside parking if you drive. The exact slip goes out with your confirmation, and there is a map on the yacht’s listing page.
Two hours is the shortest charter. Monday to Thursday is $375 an hour and Friday to Sunday is $500 an hour, with your licensed captain, crew and all fuel included. The service fee and 13% HST are itemised in the breakdown before you pay.
The 36′ Double Decker Yacht is licensed for up to 12 guests plus crew. She has two levels: an open main deck with cockpit seating and a foredeck lounge, and a climate-controlled cabin below with a full bathroom.
Bridal and baby showers, family getaways, birthdays, anniversaries, proposals, graduations, bachelorette parties, corporate outings and photo shoots, plus quieter occasions like memorials and ash scatterings. You book the whole boat, so the day is yours to shape.
Yes. You are welcome to bring your own catering and beverages, and we will have everything chilled and set out before you board. We are also happy to recommend partners we work with regularly.
Light rain rarely calls off a charter. Summer showers tend to pass, and we can often shift the timing to work around one. Heavy rain or genuinely unsafe conditions are the captain's call.
Yes. Smoking is allowed on board.
By card at the time of booking, through Stripe. The charter is paid in full up front, with the hourly rate, service fee and HST itemised before you confirm. Card details never touch this site.
Gratuities are always welcome and never expected. If your captain made the day, cash at the dock is the easiest way to say so.
Charters cancelled more than 14 days before departure are fully refundable. Inside 14 days we will reschedule to any available date at no charge. Weather cancellations by the captain are always rescheduled or refunded in full.

About this yacht

She measures 35′ 10″ (10.92 m) on deck: a sedan-bridge cruiser kept for private charter out of Toronto's Harbourfront. Two full levels, an open main deck and a climate-controlled cabin below, mean the weather rarely decides how your day goes.

Most charters follow the Inner Harbour out past the Toronto Islands, then hold off Ontario Place as the skyline lights come up. Your captain will happily rewrite that around a swim stop, a slow loop of the Eastern Gap, or wherever the afternoon takes you.

Where you'll cruise

    Harbourfront out through the Western Gap, west along the Ontario Place breakwall and back under the city. The classic three hours.

  • Island Anchor

    A run to the lee of the Toronto Islands, or an anchor off Hanlan’s Point where the boats raft up. An hour at anchor for swimming off the platform; best on four hours or more.

  • Sunset Cruise

    Departs so you're off the Islands as the sun drops and back through a lit skyline. Our most requested slot, so book it early.

    Tell the captain what you have in mind. Within the harbour and the near lake, the day is yours to shape.

Mediterra Yachts operates mediterrayachts.ca. This policy sets out what we collect when you book a charter, why, and who else sees it. It is short because the site does little.

What this site collects

The booking form asks for your name, phone number, email address, party size, the date and time you want, and a note about the occasion. Nothing is collected until you submit that form.

This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and embeds no advertising or tracking scripts. We do not build a profile of you and we cannot tell who has visited.

Payment

Payment is taken by Stripe. Card numbers are entered on Stripe's own checkout page and never reach this site or our servers. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded, together with the booking details above. Stripe's handling of your card data is governed by Stripe's privacy policy.

Where your booking is kept

A confirmed charter is written into our Google Calendar so the crew know who is aboard and when: your name, phone, email, party size, duration and occasion note. Stripe separately keeps its own record of the payment. There is no other database.

The site reads that calendar to show which dates are free. Only the times are sent to your browser — event titles, descriptions and guest details are read on the server and discarded, so no one browsing the site can see who else has booked.

Who else sees it

Only Stripe and Google, both as processors, plus the captain and crew running your charter. We do not sell, rent or share your details with anyone else, and we do not send marketing email unless you ask us to.

How long it is kept

Calendar entries are retained for the season and the one after, so we can answer questions about a past charter. Stripe retains payment records for as long as Canadian tax and financial rules require.

Your rights

Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA) you may ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it once any charter and its refund window have passed. Write to bookings@mediterrayachts.ca and we will answer within 30 days.

These terms apply to charters booked through mediterrayachts.ca. Booking a charter means accepting them.

The charter

A private charter of the 36′ Double Decker Yacht on Toronto harbour, with a licensed captain and crew, fuel and ice included. Charters run from two to eight hours, between 9:00 AM and 10:00 PM, in season. The boat carries up to 12 guests; this is a legal limit and cannot be exceeded for any reason.

Price and payment

Rates are $375 an hour Monday to Thursday and $500 an hour Friday to Sunday, in Canadian dollars. A service fee and Ontario HST are added and shown in full before you confirm. The charter is paid in full at the time of booking. No damage deposit is taken.

Cancellation

Cancel more than 14 days before departure and you are refunded in full. Inside 14 days we will reschedule to any available date at no charge. If the captain cancels for weather or safety, you may reschedule or take a full refund, whichever you prefer.

The captain's judgement on weather and water conditions is final. Light rain rarely cancels a charter.

Boarding

Boarding is at 7 Queens Quay East, Toronto. Please arrive ten minutes before departure: charter time runs from the booked departure, and a late arrival shortens the charter rather than extending it, because the berth and crew are booked for a fixed window.

Aboard

The captain has authority over the vessel and everyone on it at all times, and may end a charter without refund for behaviour that endangers guests, crew or the boat. Guests are responsible for damage they cause beyond ordinary wear. Anyone bringing alcohol aboard is responsible for complying with Ontario law, and the captain may decline to carry a guest who is unfit to travel safely.

Liability

Boating carries inherent risk. Except where Canadian law does not allow it to be limited, our liability for any claim arising from a charter is limited to the amount paid for that charter. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
